Young Raccoon Hiding I saw this young raccoon cross the road while driving home one night in YNP. I didn't know what it was that had crossed the road, but knew it was something I probably hand't documented int he park before. I stopped and went down towards the river where it had gone but couldn't find it. As I turned to leave, I heard a splash. Turning around, I saw this little guy hiding on this log next to the waters edge. This is the first raccoon I have documented in the park, and before this, I didn't even know they were present at such elevations.
