Showing Off His Colors My friend and I were at a park in Bozeman, Montana when we noticed about a hundred mallards swimming in a portion of an unfrozen pond and basking in the sun on the icy edge. It was in the afternoon, around 3 o'clock, when most of them were popping out of the water to flap their wings.
