Under leaf
Very well camouflaged under the leaves(I have used flash to make it look distinguishing in photograph) this is best mimicking caterpillar of Dakhan Baron species..
Look at the mid body part(white line) mimicking midrib of leaf and branches mimicking veins of leaf.. You will pass by them without knowing they are under these leaves..
The Common Baron —often called simply baron—is a medium-sized nymphalid butterfly native to India and Southeast Asia. It flies with stiff wing beats and often glides. The wing is not flapped very far below the horizontal.
