
Tangara larvata Siete colores
This is my all time favourite Costa Rican bird. I like it so much that we have called Chris' Range Rover Siete colores ( no idea why, but i had to count the mus as one colour) and we have called our property just that.
They are very shy, about blue tit sized and very dexterous.

The golden-hooded tanager is a medium-sized passerine bird. This tanager is a resident breeder from southern Mexico south to western Ecuador. The golden-hooded tanager's call is a sharp "tsit" and the song is a tuneless rattled series of "tick" sounds.
