Tangara larvata Siete colores This is my all time favourite Costa Rican bird. The Golden-hooded tanager

The golden-hooded tanager is a medium-sized passerine bird. This tanager is a resident breeder from southern Mexico south to western Ecuador. The golden-hooded tanager's call is a sharp "tsit" and the song is a tuneless rattled series of "tick" sounds.
