  2. I keep thinking these are dragonflies due to your history of posting them, but they are net-winged insects that somewhat look like them. Thank you for sharing, simply gorgeous. Posted 10 years ago
    1. And you are right, Ferdy, in the beginning of the century, dragonflies were classified as Neuroptera Order. The net-wing shapes were a factor to relate them in the same group. But as we know they are quite different from each other, if we think in metamorphosis, neuropterans are Holometabolic with a full/complete metamorphosis and odonata are Hemimetabolic with partial/incomplete metamorphosis.
