    1. yes robust would be the definitive description of this plant for sure...it grows in large tidal flats covering acres of shoreline and emerges as a shrubby bush just above high water mark its also a traditional bushtucker and is very fashionable in restaurants as a garnish.... Traditionally it’s been paired with fish, seaweed or greens, or pickled to provide valuable vitamins + nutrients through long winters Posted 9 years ago
