Re-checking this species ID as I came to the same ID for my own observation:
I've noticed how Scaptotrigona postica in reference photos seems more dark/black, whilst in your photo the species is more orange-ish. My theory is that your photo might be species Scaptotrigona pectoralis. I invite you to check some photos here:

This matches the orange appearance, they are commonly seen in Costa Rica, and it also matches the tube structure which is important for identification of stingless bees. Let me know what you think of this alternative ID? Posted 8 months ago, modified 8 months ago
I actually noticed that you had uploaded this photo twice, each identified as a different species. So removed the duplicate photo and the remaining one has the agreed species. Posted 8 months ago
