  1. Thanks so much with the help on identifying this "wild cucumber". Had been struggling with it. Never saw one beroe that I can recall.

"Echinocystis" is a monotypic genus in the gourd/melon/cucumber family Cucurbitaceae, with the sole species "Echinocystis lobata", commonly called "wild cucumber", "prickly cucumber", or "balsam apple".
