  1. I agree with malagasius as a good identification for this photo. Glaw & Vences (2007) do not have a record of this species from Nosy Mangabe, but they do have records from very close to that island, on the mainland. (They do not have records of any of the allied species from Nosy Mangabe either). Note that G&V have classified this species as Gephyromantis malagasius. Posted 9 years ago

      1. They are different names for the same species. Some authorities (including Glaw & Vences) have split Mantidactylus into several genera. Gephyromantis is one of these newer genera. Posted 9 years ago
