Wild Turkeys
I was walking along the path when I noticed this large group of wild turkeys (I only got 3 out of 6 in this shot) foraging by the brook. They were completely unafraid and I was able to hang out with them for a good ten minutes before they decided to go elsewhere. Shot on my sony a6 with the 55-210mm zoom lens.

The wild turkey is an upland game bird native to North America, one of two extant species of turkey and the heaviest member of the order Galliformes. It is the ancestor to the domestic turkey , which was originally derived from a southern Mexican subspecies of wild turkey .
