Panoramic view from the shoulders of Davis Peak

No mushrooms on this hike - the east side of the Cascades is still way too dry, but this area has it's own charms - like incredible sweeping views such as this one and gorgeous crisp clear fall days. If you look closely at the lake on the left hand side you can see just how bad a drought year this has been... all of that foreground is dry lake bottom. Water is just barely visible far in the distance.
