  1. Are you sure this is a Macrosiphum euphorbiae? Which reference did you use? Do you have a side view? What is the plant? Posted 10 years ago

      1. Do you mean this photo? It doesn't look-a-like to me. It is very smooth and shiny while this one is more fuzzy.

        It is more likely an Euceraphis betulae. It is fuzzy and it seems that the wing pattern matches too.

''Euceraphis betulae'', the birch aphid or silver birch aphid, is a species of aphid in the order Hemiptera. It is a tiny green insect with a soft body and wings. It is found living on the European silver birch tree where it feeds and multiplies on the buds and leaves by sucking sap.
