      I don't think so - I think that blobby thing in the front is some sort of plant material, but it's hard to tell. The salamander does a good job of blending in... Posted 9 years ago

The Western redback salamander

The western redback salamander is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family, found in Canada and the United States. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and rocky areas. The animal has a colored stripe on its back which varies from red to yellow.
