
Glistening Inky Caps
these look very much like a variety of inky cap, but I cut one in half and the gills were quite white... after some more research, I do think these are inky caps, just very young ones. Though because they are wet, you do have to look rather closely to see the granules on the surface, but they are there. The gills, I think, were not fully formed and black yet.
