Digger Wasp? Still looking to positively identify this one. The abdominal rings did go all the way around the body without breaks. The bugs I've been looking at are similar but don't have a light colour head. They also are missing the 2 lighter dots just behind the head. I'll keep checking. ''Conops quadrifasciatus'' is a species of fly from the genus ''Conops'' in the family Conopidae. Their larvae are endoparasites of bumble bees of the genus ''Bombus''. It is common throughout much of Europe.
