A pocket of poison While hiking a pine forest I almost walked right on top of these two dusky pigmy rattlesnakes. Yes thats right there are two here! The grey fade at the top of the photo is another one. Such tiny snakes I am surprised that I even noticed him but  this find definitely made my day.   2. I am so glad we don't have poisonous snakes out here... as much as I notice things on the trail, I think that there are lots of times I don't see the harmless garter snakes that we do have Posted 9 years ago
