  1. That is really weird, exact same spot as the Hawfinch. Almost identical photos with different birds! Lovely spot though, I love it. Beautiful location you have there.

    1. Thank you, Claire. We were pretty much stationary in the tiny bird house, and as the flower seeds are placed on strategic spots in the scene, the angle and perspective are identical, across lots of shots. Posted 10 years ago

The European Greenfinch, or just Greenfinch, is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. The genus "Carduelis" might be split up and in this case, the greenfinches would be separated in their old genus "Chloris" again.
