      1. they are ace. Whenever i spot one...usually on a wall and i go over put my finger in front of it...they instantly stop and back up and then i almost chase it about as it jumps around. They are so ballsy and incredibly intelligent and tuned in to what is going on around them. Any other spider would just scurry off or screw up in to a tiny ball and play dead. It's also the way they look up and down, side to side when they want to or get to the edge of something. They really are one of my favourite things :) Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago

The zebra spider is a common jumping spider of the Northern Hemisphere. Like other jumping spiders it does not build a web. It has a particularly large pair of forward facing eyes that help it to locate and stalk its prey before pouncing on it.
