Slender Mongoose - Taking a bite at Life
A young Slender Mongoose displays its pearly whites in an attempt to encourage the photographer to feed it. In areas of extreme "wilderness", or where animals do not really know humans, their interactions can be hilarious. The same accounts within areas and with wildlife where interactions are common.
It is never advised to feed wildlife as it creates a dependency and a habit within the species or animal. In this case, however, the opposite is true. This mongoose has never seen a human before, I am sure, as I was in the deepest of the deepest wilderness areas. Still, hilarious consequences come at any moment. Be prepared, always.

The slender mongoose , also known as the black-tipped mongoose or the black-tailed mongoose, is a very common species of mongoose of sub-Saharan Africa.
