Crambus lathoniellus resting on grass Omnipresent in my area in the spring and summer, with almost any step you make in a grass field, one of these flies away. They are tiny and don't look very interesting from a normal viewing distance, but I think they're quite beautiful up close. Their coat seems golden and highly reflective. 1. Great shot, I must admit to overlooking these and going for the more easy and eye catching species. Posted 10 years ago
    1. Thank you. Well, in many occasions I am an "what's available" photographer. I would definitely prefer larger and more colorful moth species. Posted 10 years ago
