  1. Actually, I would want to find it on my shoulder. I'd find it creepy too but cicadas are one of my favorite macro subjects. Posted 10 years ago
    1. If I found it on my desk (or at least somewhere I could see it instead of having no way of knowing what the big flying insect on me was), knew what it was right away (somehow, this managed to be the first time I ever actually saw a cicada, so even after I could see it I didn't know it was harmless until after I trapped it), had a real camera with me instead of just my smartphone, and wasn't in deep concentration trying to untangle a bundle of very ugly legacy code... it would've been a nice opportunity.
