Some slight doubt on the identification: Wikipedia mentions it has red eyes. However, on almost none of the photos online regarding this bird does it have red eyes. The Sri Lanka drongo is a species of bird in the Dicruridae family.
It is endemic to Sri Lanka. It was previously considered a subspecies of the greater racket-tailed drongo.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
