Harmonia axyridis I was in my garden this moring when I saw some movements on a tree. I approached the tree and I discovered thet there wewre a lot of small insects balck and yellow walking up and down on the trunk, some stayed still under the foliage. I was curious to know what insects they were so I made some researches on the web and I discovered that those insect where ladybug larvae; I was amazed because I would never hav imagined that ladybugs' larvae where like this . I returned to the tree to observe the insects again and this time I even discovered that there where some larvae in metamorphosis! "Harmonia axyridis", most commonly known as the harlequin, multicoloured Asian, or Asian ladybeetle, is a large coccinellid beetle. This is one of the most variable species in the world, with an exceptionally wide range of colour forms.
