      Seriously, they attack people? When coming to close to a nest?

      1. Yes, they are vicious, never mind if there is a nest, just evil! This one stuck its beak up my nose, bled for ages! Had to laugh though! There was another in the sanctuary here that would attack people too. But I am sure they are just lovely when out in the wild ;) Posted 10 years ago

The common myna, sometimes spelled mynah, also sometimes known as "Indian myna", is a member of the family Sturnidae native to Asia. An omnivorous open woodland bird with a strong territorial instinct, the myna has adapted extremely well to urban environments.
