Big Bang! This was an amazing capture. You can see city lights under the impact zone which I estimate to be 3-4km wide from end point to end point of the illumination from the strike. I wasn't even sure what it was going to look like from the camera's lcd since it was taken in 2011 on a D70 and the screen just looked like a bright blob completely blown out.
