
Cactus Fruit
This cactus fruit is mild in flavor but closely tastes like a mix between a kiwi and watermelon. I use these to make a custard from scratch. They usually will produce fruit 1 - 2x annually depending on the rains and temperatures throughout the year. The fruit is about the size of a tennis ball when fully developed. These are about 50% ripe but will not get much bigger than they are currently.

''Cereus repandus'', the Peruvian Apple Cactus, is a large, erect, thorny columnar cactus found in South America as well as the nearby ABC Islands of the Dutch Caribbean. It is also known as Giant Club Cactus, Hedge Cactus, ''cadushi'', and ''kayush''.
