Cactus Fruit This cactus fruit is mild in flavor but closely tastes like a mix between a kiwi and watermelon. I use these to make a custard from scratch. They usually will produce fruit 1 - 2x annually depending on the rains and temperatures throughout the year. The fruit is about the size of a tennis ball when fully developed. These are about 50% ripe but will not get much bigger than they are currently. Cereus repandus,Peruvian Apple Cactus Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro
