Just starting out with Macro photography after purchasing the new Venus 60mm f2.8 lens. Very pleased with how this one came out considering it rarely stopped moving about the rock i placed it on.

    1. Thanks Ferdy! The lens is great, tricky working with such a shallow depth of field and closing the manual aperture down makes the view finder dark. But i am loving the whole new world of photography to explore :) Posted 7 years ago
      1. It's a fantastic new world indeed, it took me years to take the leap and now its my favorite type of photography. Mastering focus and the shallow depth of field is something everybody struggles with for live subjects. Most macro photographers I know in that situation simply shoot lots and hope one is right. Phyllobius argentatus is a snout weevil in the Phyllobius genus. Despite its common name, Silver-green Leaf Weevil, it can have various colors.
