Great Potoo sleeping during the day, Ecuador Saw this Great Potoo (Nyctibius grandis) sleeping in the early morning, cleverly disguising itself as a branch. Well I saw it after it was pointed out to me. We were up in the tree tower at Sani Lodge over 30 metres above the ground. Saw this Great Potoo (Nyctibius grandis) sleeping in the early morning, cleverly disguising itself as a branch. Well I saw it after it was pointed out to me. We were up in the tree tower at Sani Lodge over 30 metres above the ground.
