    1. I think it's a male (because of the long tail streamers) Nile Valley Sunbird (Anthreptes metallicus). Posted 13 years ago

  2. Ooh dear, I am sorry but this is not a sunbird but a Royal Starling. Sunbirds have curved beaks and are very small. Sorry!!

    This is a picture of the Nile Valley Sunbird, extremely similar in colouring, but note the colour of the eyes.
