Phlox paniculata 'Also referred to as a Phlox Nicky' I live in the high desert of Nevada sitting at 5,640 feet, and the mountains around me range from 7,000 - 11,000 feet. "Phlox paniculata" is a plant in the phlox family, Polemoniaceae. It is native to eastern United States, but has been extensively cultivated for many years, with many cultivars.
