
Looking down from Cub Peak
and all you have to do to see this is climb up about 4,000 feet in 3.5 miles :p (to put that in some perspective it's about as much height gain as climbing 320 stories up in an office building!)
There's a few Silver firs scattered about, but most of the trees here are Subalpine Firs. The lower branches often form a distinctive little skirt around the bottom of the tree.
