Indian Boar extreme closeup, Yala, Sri Lanka
We found this boar wide awake enjoying its mud bath in Yala National Park. Unlike our other encounters with boars, this one made no attempt at all to flee. And rightfully so, nobody wants to be disturbed from a mud bath.

The Indian boar, also known as the Andamanese pig or Moupin pig is a subspecies of wild boar native to India, Nepal, Burma, western Thailand and Sri Lanka.
