Duo This photography shows two long-tailed tits (Least-concern by IUCN). I took this picture during autumn bird migration, in the forest in Bydgoszcz (central Poland). I was really lucky to have both these - full of energy - birds in the same sharpness field. They were part of bigger herd - which included over 20 birds, drinking water from puddles.<br />

  1. Piotr, I'm an instant fan. Your photos are excellent, and you instantly figured out how to identify species and set the country on photos, which is very important.

Note also that you're sharing some of the first photos from Poland. I invite you to go ahead and share Poland's wildlife beauty here. May your stay here be pleasant and long, ask away if you have questions.

  2. Piotr, I am glad you joined JD. I like your photos very much!
We would like to have some additional info concerning the location the photos have been taken. I have geotagged already some of your photos.
You can set the country using the "Set country" button. Even better is to geotag the photo, which you can do using the "Geotag this photo" button.

Note that by sharing your photo with more complete details, it will show up in the species browser, the global wildlife map and in search. It helps people find your photo much better, plus it delivers a far more educational photo. Check out our photo sharing tutorial for more information:

The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit is a common bird found throughout Europe and Asia. There are several extensive accounts of this species, most notably Cramp and Perrins, 1993; Gaston, 1973; and Harrap and Quinn, 1996. The majority of relevant research has been directed at its social and breeding behaviour.
