  1. Pacific golden-plover would be an incredible rarity in Belize (I don't think it's ever been recorded in the country, though there are a handful of records in other Caribbean countries).
    Looking at the hefty bill, I'd say this a Black-bellied Plover.

The grey plover, known as the black-bellied plover in North America, is a medium-sized plover breeding in Arctic regions. It is a long-distance migrant, with a nearly worldwide coastal distribution when not breeding.
