The gold-ringed cat snake or mangrove snake is a species of rear-fanged colubrid. It is one of the biggest cat snake species, averaging 6-8 feet in length. It is considered mildy-venomous, but moderate envenomations resulting in intense swelling have been reported, though there have been no severe cases of hospitalisation or fatalities.

If you look at my picture of Boiga dendrophila and other online images, you can see the lower jaw is very pronouncedly yellow and the scales looks different. But I am not an expert on Snakes, just an observation :D Posted 8 years ago, modified 8 years ago
In your picture, is it dark green, or is it black?
If it is dark green, then it is highly likely that your snake is not Boiga dendrophila. Posted 8 years ago
