Ctenophora elegans I tried to find details of this wasp like insect but couldn&#039;t find anything. I know someone on here will identify it<br />

Ctenophora elegans

I tried to find details of this wasp like insect but couldn't find anything. I know someone on here will identify it

  1. looks a bit like some sort of crane fly (and it's a boy, they've got the feathery antenna)- but without location it will be very difficult to narrow it down as to species. Posted 10 years ago

      1. Did you see my post on the other photo? I am more in favour of Ctenophora elegans, what do you think? The hind legs of Ctenophora ornata don't have that thickening.

        1. No, I did not see the other image. These images need to be linked together to provide a cross reference.

          I did not notice the rear leg thickening, and yes, you have a point.
