This skink was happy to pose for me while a took a few photos. It kept darting in and out of a hole in a tree.

Trachylepis varia is a species of skink found in Africa. Often difficult to identify due to the variation in colour, hence the name, this is nonetheless one of the most common and widespread of the skinks.
