Orange fronted conure I found this semi-tame conure at Butterfly World (they also have birds and reptiles) in Cape Town and managed, after a while of trial and error, to get a sharp photo of it. This particular conure climbed onto my shoulder only to bite my face- but I think it was worth it for the result! The orange-fronted parakeet or orange-fronted conure , also known as the half-moon conure, is a medium-sized parrot which is a resident from western Mexico to Costa Rica.
