Territorial fight This black kite was sitting on this branch when a couple of hooded crows arrived. they wanted to stay on that branch. Initially the kite managed to chase the two bird away. But at the end the ird of prey lost the battle and the crows sitted on THAT branch. I was surprised becase I tought that the crows had no chance against the kite! The black kite is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors. It is thought to be the world's most abundant species of Accipitridae, although some populations have experienced dramatic declines or fluctuations.
