Giraffe Silhouette - Golden Life

A sub-adult Giraffe bull silhouette against a brilliant, golden sunset sky.

As we all know, the Sun represents life, as do Water and all the other elements that create Nature in life never-ending. Even if we doubt it, life will find a way through adversity and challenges aplenty.

This photograph is of my favorite "silhouette" animal, the Giraffe. Not to be confused with anything else, the iconic long neck and pose is, and will remain, classic.

The Northern Giraffe

The giraffe is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant. The giraffe is also noted for its extremely long neck and legs and prominent horns. It stands 5–6 m tall and has an average weight of 1,200 kg for males and 830 kg for females.
