And so it starts...
The male chital are loosing their velvet coating on their antlers, and the fighting has started. It is mating season soon here and with it comes the fighting. Males fighting over females... it seems a common theme throughout life, from Chital to Shakespeare! These guys barged out of the scrub meters away from us (hence the close frame) with no warning and left just a promptly.
I do not know what the result of the bout was, but i am leaning towards the one with curve antlers... i hear they are in fashion this season! :)

The chital or cheetal, also known as chital deer, spotted deer or axis deer is a deer which commonly inhabits wooded regions of Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and in small numbers in Pakistan.
