Wren
One the UK's smallest birds. Its song for such a small bird is impressively loud and it almost quivers as it belts out its song which is always the same. Due to their lack of colour and most often found in undergrowth and they very rarely stay still, makes this bird a difficult one to capture. Therefore i was happy to have captured this shot which i took near Coombes Ridge on the dark side of the Peak District.

The Eurasian Wren is a very small bird, and the only member of the wren family Troglodytidae found in Eurasia. In Anglophone Europe, it is commonly known simply as the Wren. It was once lumped with "Troglodytes hiemalis" of eastern North America and "Troglodytes pacificus" of western North America as the Winter Wren.
