
"Heliconius ethilla", the ethilia longwing, is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It was described by Godart in 1819. It is found from Panama to southern Brazil. The habitat consists of marginal forests.

using a shot of the underside but on closer inspection you are right, this is not Mechanitis polymnia. I'll add the underside shot and try to find a proper match. Posted 10 years ago
