"Plica plica" is a species of lizard in the family Tropiduridae, the Neotropical ground lizards. It is native to South America, including Colombia, Venezuela, Surinam, French Guiana, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador. It can also be found in the Caribbean, on Trinidad.
