  1. I see that you just changed the ID. What made you change your mind?
    I was wondering about it too. I have also captured one with a similar pattern on the Palatine hill and I am not sure how to identify it. Apparently both species coexist in Italy and have a similar spotted pattern and I don't know how to discriminate between them. Do you have any reference for that?

  2. Sorry i made a mistake.. It is a podarcis muralis because it is spotted under its face and the italian wall lizard isn't Posted 10 years ago, modified 10 years ago

The common wall lizard is a species of lizard with a large distribution in Europe and well-established introduced populations in North America, where it is also called the European wall lizard. It can grow to about 20 cm in total length.
