    1. It's a little early this year, but this is the short season when the desert areas in Washington have their brief wildflower pop. It's also nice because it's a bit too early to have to worry about snakes and ticks! Posted 10 years ago

"Collinsia parviflora" is a species of flowering plant in the Plantaginaceae known by the common names maiden blue eyed Mary and small-flowered collinsia. This tiny wildflower is a common plant throughout much of western and northern North America, where it grows in moist, shady mountain forests.
