  1. The composition is superb, I've experienced myself how hard this bird is to photograph, so well done! Personally, I would have made some more effort to do noise reduction in post processing, but that's only a personal preference. All in all a great capture! Posted 10 years ago

      I will see, if I can reduce the noise, I'm a beginner when it comes to using photo editing tools.

          1. Good choice :) Lightroom has some pretty good noise reduction tools. In Develop mode, you will find them in the "Detail" panel -> Noise Reduction. Make sure you are zoomed in to 100% and then play around with the sliders. Don't overdo it, because noise reduction will not only get rid of noise, it will also get rid of details you may still want.

            That's the quick and easy way. If you really wanna take control, you can use the adjustment brush and paint areas on the image that you want noise reduction to apply to, and leave other areas alone.

The Indian paradise flycatcher is a medium-sized passerine bird native to Asia, where it is widely distributed. As the global population is considered stable, it has been listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List since 2004. It is native to the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia and Myanmar.
