Usually incubates the oystercatcher on grassland, but also on arable land are found many nests. They also make nests on flat gravel roofs of large buildings, where there is no danger of ground predators like fox and ermine. The eggs hatch from hatch after 25 to 27 days. The young are then fed for a while by the parents, in contrast to most other birds meadow.
