    I have started keeping an eye out for some turkey action around here in north Idaho. Spring is really starting to kick in gear and it won't be long until the tom's start getting really active. I have already seen some strutting, I just haven't been able to get any good captures yet... Posted 10 years ago

The Wild turkey

The wild turkey is an upland game bird native to North America, one of two extant species of turkey and the heaviest member of the order Galliformes. It is the ancestor to the domestic turkey , which was originally derived from a southern Mexican subspecies of wild turkey .
