  2. Seeing the bird with color this time, I think the previous woodcreeper identification was wrong.
    The color of the eyes, legs and feathers don't match and the legs are that from a swamp bird instead of a tree climber.

    I have searched google images to see if I could identify this one but I haven't found a picture of a similar bird yet.

    1. It took some searching but I have found another suspect, the juvenile Black-Crowned Night Heron. It only has a brown color when it is young. See the third row of pictures here:
